The TN Bid for ICYPAA is a group of young and enthusiastic people in Alcoholics Anonymous from all over Tennessee and we are excited to be working together to bid for ICYPAA, the International Conference of Young People in AA.
We meet at 6pm on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at 202 Friendship House in Nashville and we would love to see you there!
So show up, meet other young people, get involved, learn what our bidding process for ICYPAA is all about and, most importantly, come and have some fun with us! We are most definitely “not a glum lot” and are all looking forward to meeting you and “trudging the Road of Happy Destiny” together.

The Tennessee Bid for ICYPAA is formed in accordance with the Fifth Tradition which states that “each Alcoholics Anonymous group ought to be a spiritual entity having but one primary purpose—that of carrying its message to the alcoholic who still suffers.” You play an important role in fulfilling this objective. As you are helping organize the events that share experience, strength, and hope with newcomers, performing administrative duties that allow vital service work to take place, or informing our group about the importance of the Twelve Traditions, don’t forget that you are helping to fulfill our primary purpose. Let us remember that the ultimate reason we seek to host the 58th ICYPAA is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve
